Celebrating business excellence: highlights from the first ever Mansfield and Ashfield Business Awards

The inaugural Mansfield and Ashfield Business Awards took centre stage last week at Portland College, shining a spotlight on the outstanding achievements of local businesses, entrepreneurs, and innovators.

The prestigious event, held on Friday 14 March 2025, recognised the remarkable contributions of businesses that have driven economic growth and community development in the region. From new micro-businesses to large and well-established enterprises, the awards highlighted the resilience, creativity, and ambition that define the Mansfield and Ashfield business landscape.

With an impressive turnout, the awards ceremony celebrated twelve exceptional businesses across eleven diverse categories, recognising those that have demonstrated excellence in performance, innovation, and community impact.

Giving back to the community

The evening wasn’t just about celebrating business excellence – it was also an opportunity to give back. A charity raffle held during the event raised over £1,600 for John Eastwood Hospice, supporting their invaluable work in the community.
