Brighter Mansfield is an independent charity serving the Mansfield community and surrounding areas from Ladybrook Community Centre. Originating from the Neighbourhood Renewal process, it operates based on community needs, with trustees from the area. The charity constantly seeks community input to shape its services, with the CEO and Vice CEO connecting needs to resources.

Volunteers and clients are key stakeholders, contributing to the success of services by finding community solutions despite limited resources. The charity welcomes people from all backgrounds, with staff and volunteers ensuring accessibility. Mansfield and its Districts face economic challenges, including poverty and high levels of disability, requiring more intensive services. Brighter Mansfield’s success lies in community-driven solutions.

Embedded in the community for over a decade, it is a trusted local support source. With experience as a Neighbourhood Management Team and in the voluntary sector, it focuses on influencing social change to prevent recurring hardships. The organisation supports, empowers, and inspires individuals to build self-esteem and reach their potential.
